To make turning food easier when grilling use two skewers instead of one; thread your meat or vegetables using two parallel skewers.  This will make the food stay stationary when flipping and allow the food to cook evenly.


Make it flow:  If the flow from your ketchup bottle is sluggish, place a plastic straw down the neck of the bottle and remove.  This provides air at the bottom of the bottle to make it flow faster.


To peel a kiwi, insert an apple corer through the stem.  Then take a teaspoon and guide it between the skin and the meat of the fruit.  Turn the spoon around the fruit and the peel should slip off.  You can also cut the kiwi in half lengthwise, then slip the spoon between the meat and the skin.
